My name is Veronica and I'm 14 years old. I have a mother who is homophobic, and I really can't stand it! I mean, I am all for gay marriages, and a lot of people think that I'm too young to think anything, but I know that when a rule applies to the people that live on this earth, it applies to everybody! I think not letting same sex couples have a right to marriage is wrong! It would be like excluding people because they preferred a different colour over somebody else's. It's the exact same, I mean, they are getting excluded because they have different preferences then others, but they are the exact same as us in every way, they don't have any more or less body parts then us. But some people treat them like they do, but they don't! Anyway, I am not a lesbian, but I know lots of people that are, and I just want people that feel the same as me to know that I support them all 100% and I really hope one day that I can make a difference. And I want you to know that I am going to fully support you who decide to stand out, thank you.

I'm just letting you know I've seen one of the PSAs and I think they are great ... I know for a fact that many people of many different cultures need to see this commercial.

Hi, I'm Janice Peake and I am straight but I don't see why people are making such a big fuss over gay people getting married. When love knows no boundaries. Love is love no matter what sex or age you are. I had many gay friends when I lived in Montreal and frankly I preferred them over straight uptight idiots. Love is blind and when you know that person you look at every day is the one, well so be it. I am behind you a 1000 per cent. If you need me for anything don't hesitate to ask. All the best, your friend,
There are many ways to get involved!

I sent emails to the government officials listed on your web site showing my support for same sex marriages. I am not gay but believe in FREEDOM OF CHOICE! Good luck to everyone fighting for this cause. May God be with You and Yours.

I just saw your commercial for supporting same sex marriages - I loved it!!! I'm not sure what PR firm you worked with for this commercial, but it's brilliant. Way to go!

As fellow Canadians involved in the fight for our right to be legally married, I ran across this site from an e-group I belong to. These two men [Boycott For Equality] are calling for a US National Day of protest from all GLBT folks in the tradition of Ghandi and Martin Luther King. This site has the tools to link to your site. We added them to our site (Cal & Star's Butch-Femme Dance Hall) where we have over 600 members.
What a great idea to use a simple form of protest to fight for our rights.

Congratulations on your marriage. Thanks for the suggestion (and your contribution as a couple working as agents of change). We have added Boycott For Equality's banner to our list of external links that will appear at random throughout this site. Canadians may wish to participate, not only in solidarity with our American friends and neighbours, but in response to the ongoing discrimination and violation of rights experiences by Canadians in "have-not" provinces and territories.
